We stopped in for a quick bite on our way down to Thunder Beach and the food was soooo good!!! The service was great, and the atmosphere was pleasant...just gave you that down-home feeling! If you leave hungry it's your own fault! They aim to please and their food and portions can tame even the hangriest appetite!!! Looking forward to our next trip to Hook's Bar-B-Q!!!

Top notch local BBQ with great service and great prices. The taste was fantastic and better than any BBQ chains we’ve visited in AL. The pork with the hot BBQ sauce, onion rings, cole slaw, beans and potato salad were superb.

The BBQ is great, love the hot sauce, not very hot but great flavor. Service is always good and fast. The atmosphere, well I'm an ol country boy and its a small town restaurant. Love the folks up there in opp Alabama. I drive from ft walton bch fl, about 80 miles just to get lunch at hooks, very good food!
