“Okay I have to give Southern Girl Coffee in Oxford some love. I went for the first time yesterday and I’ve already been back both days since, which is not something I do unless a place really gets it right.

The espresso is so good. It’s rich and smooth, with that thick crema on top that just makes you happy before you even take a sip. They told me their espresso blend is a Guatemalan and Colombian mix, and whoever picked that combo deserves a thank you because it tastes intentional and just plain delicious. You can also tell they care about how it’s made. They’re using an Italian espresso machine and the shots are coming out really, really well.

But honestly what made me come back so fast was the people. The baristas on duty were genuinely kind and easy to talk to, and the conversations felt real, not forced. The whole place has great energy, and it just feels good to support a local business that’s doing things with care. I’m really grateful this spot exists.”

“We tried Cutter's Pizza today for the first time. I called to place an order and got their answering machine. To my surprise, they called me back within a couple of minutes. We got the cauliflower pizza crust which was delicious! When I picked it up I was greeted by Cutter himself. What a nice young man!”

“I door dash A lot of orders from this location several times a day. I am always very empresses with how friendly the associates are with me. I am most impressed with how well dresses and groomed they are. One girl I have seen wears a dress that goes past her knees. How good of an example is this in this age that a young woman would dress so appropriate in a place of business. I spoke with a male associate that is obviously a devoted Christian. No metal on there faces to freak me out when I see them. They do the counter the old way. There is always several associates standing at the registers ready to take orders. You don't have to work your way through a Kiosk. Managers are always very friendly with me. In other words they believe in good old fashion business and good old fashioned customer service...”

“As a child I grew up going to a Western Sizzlin in Carrollton, GA. Sadly, it closed when I was in high school and I just assumed that they went out of business as a whole. Fast Forward to 2/28/26, my friends and I were on our way back to Georgia from Birmingham when we seen this gem! We stopped in, a little worried that it wouldn't be the same as we remembered, but it was and actually exceeded what we remembered. The hostess was very friendly and got us seated quickly. Our waitress, Tammy, did an outstanding job making sure that our drinks stayed full and plates cleared. The food was better than any other currently operating buffet that I know of. Everything was cooked to perfection. Anyone, who is looking for a buffet with country style cooking will not be disappointed. I strongly recommend this place and my friends and I really enjoyed the opportunity to take a trip down memory lane by dining here. I would give it 10 stars if possible, and I will definitely be returning.”

“There is just not a better Mexican restaurant than Los Mex. It has been in two other locations before this one and just kept growing because the food is SO GOOD. They learn you and know you when you come in the door. We have even been in Birmingham, run into employees and they greeted us!!! The Nachos are fantastic, but I always add pico on top for extra taste. Special Lunch No 1 is wonderful. Having lived all over the country, we always say LOS MEX is the BEST ever.”

“I am writing to express my consistent disappointment with the accuracy of my recent orders. On numerous occasions, I have received incomplete meals, despite placing my orders correctly. This has occurred frequently enough to raise serious concerns about the reliability of the service. I understand that the meals are prepared by through a drug rehabilitation program, and I appreciate the important work being done. However, the recurring issue of missing items is unacceptable, especially considering the cost of the food. The quality of service should be commensurate with the price paid. Today's experience further exemplifies this problem. After placing my order through the app. When I got to the drive-through window, I was asked to wait in the parking lot. After a 15-minute wait, I was informed that my order had been lost and was subsequently provided with an incomplete meal. I request that this matter be given urgent attention to ensure future orders are complete and accurate. I would appreciate a response outlining the steps being taken to improve the accuracy and efficiency of order fulfillment”

“This bojangles is the best around. Hands down the breakfast is the best. I eat there nearly every day. I have never had an issue with my order. They know I like the non butter biscuit and guess what like clock work they got them. I also love there chicken tenders but those pintos and Mac & cheese simply the best. This is probably my favorite place in oxford. Keep up the great work”
