“We spoke with Jill and she put together a great meal of sliced chicken, pulled pork, coleslaw, baked beans, potato salad, banana pudding and all the fixins for a Shriner Event for 70 people in Pell City. They delivered on time set up everything up and we had nothing but complements on the food all night. Great people to work with Highly recommend.“
“Had a GF lunch date a few weeks ago. We came in late lunch and was going to be seated by the service door which Im not a fan of so we asked if we could have another seat. She seemed right away little odd apparently she wanted us to sit in he rarea which I get it was her turn but we were told she had to clean a table so just go back to the door and wait lol SO we stood by the bar mind you there were several tables avail but just not her area . SO then she goes to a couple and starts doing something with them which is taking pretty long time and then goes to the counter again doing whatever. SO I asked do we just need to headout. We just came to enjoy a little girl time. So I wsa like cant we just sit at the open table where she then very much with the same attitude says yea but thats no her section. Well we did just that. Again I understand they split patrons but after 15 mins I think we had a little bit enough of a wait. Soooo I have to say the sweet lady that then took care of us was the best. We didnt have and empty glass and she was very tentative. Had a little hiccup with the fish but it really was great flavor and she had the Potatoe which was huge and BBQ as well was good. That was my first trip so definitely will visit again.“
“Great ribs and onion rings. BBQ and mild sauce are good. Even with no sauce it’s good. I prefer a true pulled pork. Theirs is more chopped. Sweet tea is great. Traditional older Southern BBQ Joint!!!! Atmosphere is what you want and expect.“
“This is one of the good BBQ stops that you read about. The Memphis style pulled pork sandwich was dynamite with the right combination of slaw and pork. Fresh hand breaded chicken fingers and plenty of options for sides. Its an established restaurant and will be around based on the traffic I saw coming in during a non-rush time.“
“Bucks is no longer Buck's Barbeque. It is The Barbecue Pit now. My daughter who doesn't live far from there stopped and got my wife and I a sandwich as we were visiting for the weekend. The sandwich Q was delicious. If you want some great pulled pork barbecue go try the barbecue pit in Gallatin.“
“Area specialty for bbq, southern sides and friendly service. Tammy will greet you with a smile and take your order perfectly. Then the invisible people in the kitchen wlll either wrap it to go and you can take it to a nice wooden table inside or outside. You can have the bbq but I have the cheeseburger, friend okra or chicken tender salad, the ranch dressing is extra good. Check the days and hours before you go. They have the community trained to rush in Wednesday through Saturday.“
“Railroad themed decor, fast efficient service, and really good prices. Waitresses always nice and friendly as well as helpful whenever I have a menu question. Oh, and the best thing of all: fantastic food! I've been there five times and received friendly service and great food every time. I've taken two other people who were also impressed. I always get the bbq, my husband had the hamburger steak, and I even took my boss who chose the burger. All delicious!“
“We are from out of town and stopped because of the convenience of how close it was to the lake. They had a few things for special pricing and we decided to get BBQ loaded tots and baked potato. The pulled pork was good and didn’t need the sauce that was included. The portions are massive! We should have split what we got but instead we have some to take home! The gas station that is attached is actually quite nice and doesn’t take away from the small local dine in experience.Overall it was very affordable and a great meal!“
