“The food was great, but the service was better! The server accidently gave us the wrong order when we picked up our to go order. The restaurant called us before we even made it home and asked us how they could make it right and even offered to meet us halfway to bring us the correct food! They were so kind and helpful. “This is a great local BBQ joint. This is no frills all flavor type of place. They take a lot of pride in their community and supporting the people that support them. I just stopped by randomly while driving thru and they treated me like I was a local. Stop by and try the Brisket sandwich!“
“This is one of the good BBQ stops that you read about. The Memphis style pulled pork sandwich was dynamite with the right combination of slaw and pork. Fresh hand breaded chicken fingers and plenty of options for sides. Its an established restaurant and will be around based on the traffic I saw coming in during a non-rush time.“

The ribs are exceptionally good, and I've always been happy with the sides (although I'm admittedly not that adventurous and usually get the mac-and-chese and turnip greens). “MUST TRY BARBECUE. Traveling from out of town we were unfamiliar with the area, we looked on yelp for places to try and came across this diamond in the rough. Upon pulling into the parking lot you'd think maybe you're not at the right place or perhaps it's drive thru only but once you see the trophies in the window you know you're in the right spot. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We placed our order and our food was brought out in no time. I even have to say, before talking about the food, that the lemonade was outstanding and home made. I had an outstanding Arnold Palmer with it. Between the 4 of us we had the Brisket, Pulled Pork, Chicken, and Ribs; all of which were delicious. For sides, we had the baked beans, green beans, mac & cheese , and the soup of the day which was a brisket chili. I can't over emphasize how on point and delicious the sides and main dishes were. The barbecue sauce was also some of the best I've ever had! If you're looking for a crowded sports bar with big screen TVs and big crowds then this isn't the spot.. If you're looking for a low key vibe with home style food and atmosphere, then this is your place!“
“Awesome place! In 2012 we were at an anniversary in Trussville when we first got to try their wonderful BBQ. We've been loyal customers since. They were by Sanie Road at the time. I was so excited when they moved to a building by the old Dollar Family Butcher shop, just 3miles from where we live! And gotta mention they have great vegetables too. I love their black eyed peas.“
