“This place is terrific from the food to the people to the service - all 5 stars!!! We went for lunch and each got a plate of daily meat special and veggie sides. Meat options change daily, but the fried chicken is every day and for good reason, it's excellent! Their smoked cabbage, corn nuggets, and fried corn were all delicious. Vegetable sides change daily, too. For dessert we went with the sweet potato pie, the chef's grandmother's recipe. It was so good and not too sweet. You can tell it's made with real sweet potatoes, not canned. The service was fast and friendly, with a family atmosphere. Ranks right up there among the nicest experience we've had lately. There's a drive through window and dine-in area (not fancy, but just right for a breakfast or lunch stop). And this place is clean Tables, bathrooms, and floor, which is always a good sign. For quality home-cooked food this is definitely worth the extra 5 min drive away from the endless strip malls and chain restaurants of Prattville off of I-65. Bonus is it's locally owned so you're supporting the community.“
“Listen to me and listen to me well..The food was outstanding .and prices wasn't bad at all..under 30.for 2 plates. BUT what I came to talk about is the customer service!!! I don't know her name but the Lady working the drive thru Needs to be Teaching Classes on GREAT Customer Service..I told my wife let's ride back through just to interact with her..she made us feel like family or a long lost friend she was happy to see us..Don change EVER!!!“
“I used to stop by when my grandmother was still living and get her breakfast at times. She used to love their salmon croquettes and grits! But this time, I dined in for lunch, and I got baked chicken, rice, green beans with a corn muffin, and peach cobbler.There was quite a bit of traffic on Fairview while trying to turn in around the 1pm time, so watch for that. Not many guests were in when I came, so there was no line or wait. It was clean inside, and the woman at the counter was nice.I was able to enjoy my meal at a clean table with no complaints, and the peach cobbler was delicious!!Parking: The parking lot“
“My family and I had their meat and 2/3 today. The fried and baked chicken were amazing. The guys had hamburger steak and they loved it. They have the best fried green tomatoes and coleslaw. I highly recommend this place to anyone and can't wait to watch them grow!“
