“We've dined at the Dauphin's a few times before during previous visits to Mobile, AL and always enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, this recent visit during Memorial Day weekend was a bit of a letdown. While the service was okay, the food left much to be desired. The main issue was the white fish of the day limon style, which was overcooked ~ extremely dry and hard with a side of overcooked, slimey asparagus. This was quite disappointing, especially since it's a dish I've enjoyed here in the past. However, the rest of the items we ordered were pretty good, maintaining the quality I've come to expect. I have to add that portions are above average size so if you're looking to try dessert, you may want to skip appetizers. One consistent highlight is the view from the 34th floor, which is simply amazing and adds a wonderful ambiance to the dining experience, especially during sunset. The cocktail with thyme is also great. Overall, this visit was not as impressive as previous ones, but I hope it was just an off night for the kitchen. We may give it another chance due to the beautiful setting and the generally good food we've had in the past. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I'd only be able to give it 3 stars.”

“Passion for food is the theme here. Every tiny detail is attended to. You will come across aged beef in several places around Baldwin county and surrounding, but nothing like what you get here. Go all in! Get the most aged steak they have and see what you’ve been missing out on in life. It is served perfectly cooked on a plate by itself because that’s really all you need. They have sides and accoutrements but that steak is a flavor experience all its own.”

“We come through Mobile once a year or so and always try to have at least one meal here. Everything is amazing. Today, we left San Antonio Texas at 430am to head for Atlanta Ga to attend the funeral of my uncle who passed away on Saturday. we needed something comforting so here we are, enjoying the sunset, the amazing filet and shrimp, and the friendliness and good southern hospitality of our server, Lauren. Dad and I thank you for continuing to have amazing and consistently perfect food, atmosphere, and staff. Something very much needed today.”
