“First off, I don't understand how anyone could leave a bad review on Fuji Buffet. The variety of food and atmosphere here are far superior to any other Chinese restaurant in the area. The food is always fresh and hot when we visit, and the variety, especially the sushi, is always great! They also have crab legs on the dinner buffet and crawfish, which seem to be a hit! My absolute favorites are the crab ragoon’s (which I believe are homemade and FANTASTIC) ,rice noodles (lunch time only), pepper chicken, and sushi. The staff is also incredible! My daughter (who is 2) loves the lady working the register and the lady server as well. They always acknowledge her and give her hugs and knuckles when we come to eat. Sometimes my daughter will grab her hand and walk with the server lady to the table. The price is a little higher than, say, Semmes Chinese Buffet, but with the freshness, taste, and variety, it's worth it!“
“One of the few places I have found in Mobile with Bento Boxes for lunch. The price is more than fair for the amount and selection of foods you receive. I like the Tempura Box, either shrimp or chicken. Both are amazing and a great choice for lunch. Service is friendly and the staff is very attentive. Everything in the “box” is perfect. The tempura is crunchy and “flaky”. Bento includes soup, salad, entree meat, rice, wanton and sushi roll. Great combination of a little of everything!“
“Decided I wanted to treat myself to sushi after getting my hair done so came to a place I've never been before to give it a go. I got here initially around 3 but found a sign that said temporary business hours 4-9 -- like so many places they obviously have staffing shortages. Not deterred, I decided to go next door to Jerusalem cafe for a Turkish coffee and app before coming back over just after 4. I was the first customer to arrive so the chef told me to sit where I liked. It's a small restaurant with pleasing aesthetics but nothing too over the top. I like the lotus-ish looking light fixtures above each table. The server came and got my drink order as I looked over the menu. There's lots of offerings, whether starters, cooked dishes or sushi/ sashimi/ maki choices. I decided on an Orange Ball Roll and one of the specials on the white board, a *99 roll. If you get two specialty rolls it comes with a very tasty Clear soup, so I sipped on that as the chef made my rolls. The rolls were both very tasty and fresh, with a good rice to filling/topping ratio, in my opinion. My only gripe is just a picky one, I prefer my rice to be more moist/ vinegary, so that was the only thing lacking in my opinion. I got two more rolls for my friend togo, but haven't heard back yet how they liked them. I wish they had a happy hour special from like 4-6.“
“My wife and I were looking for great sushi and we found it! It was so fresh and delicious. The specialty rolls were unique and tasty. It's some of the best sushi we ever had. The cocktails were great also. Ashley, our waitress, was delightful! She gave us great service and shared the secret sushi menu with us and then gave us great recommendations. We will definitely come back the next time we visit Mobile. I highly recommend Chuck's!“
“I have eaten at Shiso several times over the last few months, usually for lunch. The restaurant is very attractive and the food is excellent. Service today was particularly outstanding. Shiso is my favorite Asian restaurant in Mobile. I usually order tempura because it is so good, but I have also had teriyaki which is also excellent. Highly recommended!“
“I've been wanting to try this place for a while now. I had to do some things at the hospital, so I called in an order afterwards. I live in Lucedale, MS, so it's slim pickings for sushi. This place did not disappoint. I only ordered 1 special roll, the Roll Tide Roll. Absolutely delicious. It was a large portion that I couldn't finish and the price was way cheaper than I'm used to paying for sushi. I'll definitely be back!“
“Food was very good. The fried rice,the noodles and stir fried veggies were exceptional. The hibachi cooked teriyaki chicken was just a little dry but still the taste was good.Customer service was good and the chef was engaging and fun to watch.“
“We're avid RNR fans.Tried out the Midtown location tonight, and it did not disappoint. Imagine our surprise when we walked in the door and saw our favorite waitress, Martia, working there!Rolls were great, kids' meals were perfect, and the only thing that caused us pause was the twisted tuna's size and lack of "chips" like the Daphne location offers.Also, this location charges $1.99 for each kid's drink, even if it's water. When you have multiple kiddos, this adds up quickly.All in all, we'll be back!“
“Omgosh!!! This place was the best. Me and my CA and FO on this mid-January. 2024 flt. sequence. We had a very long day of multiple cancelations, delays, and reassignments. This was our first visit, and definitely not the last. Everything from the service to the unique delivery of our sushi rolls and tacos to the amazing flavors and fresh ingredients used to make these awesome dishes were top-notch incredible and so appreciated, especially after the chaotic day we had to endure. I ordered the Pork Belly Tonkotsu Ramen, Cali Eel Roll, and the salmon taco. Everything was absolutely phenomenal, including the prices ? The flavor of the ramen broth was delicious and so comforting. My soft boiled egg was perfectly cooked, the pork belly was everything yum and cooked right. Can't wait to get another trip here. I'm spreading the word. Don't take my word for it, give this place a visit and have make your own review.“
“The food was good minus having some shell from the crawfish in my sushi roll. I'd give 5 stars but it took entirely too long for our food and we were the only 2 people in there. Also I feel like the workers just really didn't want to be there or enjoy their job. I've been a server so I get it but customer service skills go a long way.“
“My family and I love going to Dash Poke. They have the very best Poke bowls and the friendliest staff ever. Not to mention their bizarre and tasty ice cream. We drive about 20 miles out of our way to visit and eat at Dash. Give it a try, you won’t regret it!!“
“My wife and I had the hibachi and sushi. Chef was from Micronesia and his name is Romeo. Yes…Romeo which is his real name passed down through his family. Great sense of humor and excelllent chef. Hefty portions are served. We had to take leftovers home in six boxes!!! LOTS of food.“
