“The Waffle House in Satsuma is by far the best one I've ever been in. I've been in Waffle Houses all over the state and the atmosphere, the service, the friendliness is always the same regardless of who's working. The food is cooked amazingly fast and accurate but most importantly amazing as you expect it to be at Waffle House. Tonight (2/10/25), Gery was our server and he was awesome! He was so friendly, attentive and deserves a raise along with everyone in there. Keep it up y'all bc you're regulars look forward to coming in to having a little fun while we enjoy a great meal! “I ordered a to go order for my mother who is on hospice. I got home with the order and found out that I had only been given half the order, which was all fried. I wasn't very happy that I had to go back and get what I ordered for my mother, which was a bowl of gumbo. I called and let them know they hadn't given me what I wanted, and they started saying that I hadn't ordered it, to which I responded that was the first thing I ordered. So I went back and got the gumbo and told them that they hadn't given me the bread pudding, either. The guy went to the kitchen to get it, but it took 15 minutes for him to bring it to me, and he had apparently waited for someone else's order before bringing my bread pudding. I am very, very disappointed in the service I received at this location and may never return. Yes, I am a local who has been there more times than I can remember. For you to have been in business for so many years, I expected much better service. This is not how you stay in business.”

“My husband and I went for his birthday dinner. It was our first time there. It was great food and service! It was no wait. Our waitress, Cat, did a wonderful job! She was very courteous, friendly, and helpful! She made sure we were satisfied with everything. The food was delicious! When I asked what she recommended that was good she said she loved the Tacos de Carne Asada. It didn’t take long for us to get our food. My husband tried the Tacos de Carne Asada and wasn’t disappointed! He loved it! I had the steak and rice. All of the food was delicious! It was large portions, so we had food to take home. We both had mojitos, mine was strawberry and his was blue. They were so good! He had happy birthday sung to him for the first time in Spanish! He was very surprised! The desert was awesome! Our first experience was wonderful, and we will be coming back! Thank you so much for a great birthday dinner for my husband! Highly recommend!”

“I enjoy the food and atmosphere. I don't like that we tip the cashiers.

Maybe it's not required, but I don't think we should be asked. The cashier is right there and knows whether we tip and how much. It is awkward to put no tip.

I always tip servers at least 15%. They are going back and forth to our table, checking that the food is good, if we need anything, etc.”
