“We came in May 8 for a late lunch/ early dinner . We wanted raw oysters and the waitress said you were out. We all order wings instead and they were great. Our waitress was Debbie , she did and outstanding job..Jeffersons will definitely be back on our books when we are in town.“

“It has been a 3 year running joke that Captain D's is one of the best restaurants in Scotsbourough. My girlfriend's family is always suggesting I go. I have resisted the whole time. I was very impressed by the quality of the food I received, but also by the way they made you feel in these times of Coronavirus. Well done Captain D's, well done!“

“I ordered a small pizza with pepperoni, Italian sausage, and ham. Thin crispy crust. Plenty of sauce, and it has a fresh tomatoey taste. All toppings have a fresh pork taste. Service was quick and friendly in a sports bar dining atmosphere. This is a great pizza place in rural Alabama. Anyone driving US 72 should stop and eat here.“

“First time at this restaurant and our family of 11 loved everything. We tried a variety of appetizers, soup, gumbo to a variety of meals. Not a disappointed person at the table. Fried fish, crab legs shrimp and grits were all amazing. Service was spectacular. Very friendly atmosphere with great southern hospitality. Don’t pass on this restaurant.“
