“This restaurant is not much to look at on the out side but don’t hesitate to go inside.A quaint little place, very clean, the staff was very nice and helpful with the menu.They have plates with lots of vegetables that are fresh made, not from a can. The pinto beans are wonderful and fried okra was cooked to perfection.Definitely get the bacon cheese burger, fat juicy hamburger topped with tons of bacon lettuce and tomatoes. Yum. One thing I will do next time is ask to skip the mustard and ketchup when they bring it out, only because it is so big I had to cut it in half to eat it. FYI: Put your condiments on after it is halved.The Baby bakers are little whole potatoes that are deep fried and are delicious! Like little baked potatoes. With some ranch dressing they melt in your mouth.I had to try the chocolate pie. Just like my grandmother use to make with three inches of homemade meringue browned on the top. This is real chocolate pie, nothing instant about it. If you like chocolate don’t pass on dessert, get the pie.We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The staff was over the top friendly, they even came out of the kitchen to visit. We will make the drive to eat here again.“
“My massage therapist recommended this place, and she was right! There service was quick and friendly, and the Cowboy Pork Chop was huge! However, the best part was their homemade sides. It's rare you get homemade creamed corn, green beans, and mashed potatoes in a restaurant because they usually just open a can, but these ladies do it right! Everything was fresh, homemade, and delicious. We will definitely be back!!“

“They have a hot bar where you are served the food of the day. My choice happened to be the Mexican lasagna with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese with 2 small rolls and a desert and a drink for. 10 bucks. Very filling nice portions and a great waiting staff. My glass never went empty and the people were super friendly. If you want a good American reaturant you will love this place. It’s a down home country cooking restaurant with good food and great prices. Very well done.“
