“We often stop by Hickory Pit when we're heading to Mobile. Food is always great.The kitchen staff are EXTREMELY generous with food portions. So we can usually go home with more leftover BBQ than we ate for dinner! The wait staff are all very kind and patient. Very nice experience if you're in the mood to EAT!“

I haven't tried them all, but the ones I have had are a 10 out of 10 every single time (roasted pork, grilled pork, grilled chicken, beef, and egg are the ones I've had so far). Everything about these sandwiches - the bread, the veggies, the meats, and condiments - are always so fresh and delicious. Pretty sure they make all the bread there which is a huge plus as well. You can tell they care a lot about what they do.
Also, they're very affordable and they're usually super quick! Way better for you and more convenient than a lot of fast food places.“

“This was our first time here. We had reservations for 6 and when we walked in we were immediately taken to our table and it was all ready with waters and menus and utensils. Our waitress, Hannah, was awesome! She was super friendly and attentive; a complete delight! The food was served fast and everyone loved their dish and the charcuterie board for appetizer. The drinks and wine were excellent! The atmosphere was so nice. We all agreed that it was one of the best places to eat and we had friends from NY visiting. We live in Pensacola but will visit again any chance we get! Thank you Pour Baby! And Hannah! And all the staff!“

“This is a hidden gem! We eat here regularly lunch specials are great as well as dinner. My son could have a gallon of thier miso and he also loves the dragon roll. Service is always excellent. Mr. Johnny has the best spot in town for sushi and hibachi! Cocktails are always on point too!“

Party of 4 that paid $100 for our meal and were treated like we were in a ghetto fast food restaurant. This particular server certainly doesn't reflect the "christian" vibes you have going on.“

“I took my 2 kids (8 and 13) here on a random, sporadic dinner. Upon entering the small, quaint restaurant, we were very nicely greeted by the staff. The few customers there also gave friendly nods and welcoming gestures. Very friendly atmosphere. I ordered the filet and shrimp hibachi. It was awesome. My filet was extremely tender, juicy and delicious. The shrimp tasted very fresh. Don’t seem to be imported. My daughter ordered steak and shrimp hibachi she devoured it and left nothing behind. My son ordered tuna nigiri and said it was excellent. My daughter tried a piece of his nigiri for the first time and said it was really good. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning the next time we’re in the area.“

“Drive from Bay Springs MS to Mobile for supper last night. Found the restaurant through an internet sesrch, with no prior knowledge. Walked in, was seated immediately. The waitress was very pleasant and took our order and brought our drinks immediately. Bread and salad was out quickly, when that was finished, the main course was there. All very efficient and quick. The wife got a ribeye, medium well, it was grilled to perfection with a good smoky flavor I had fried shrimp, onion rings and sweet potato casserole. They came with cocktail, tartar and comeback sauces. Shrimp were fried to perfection and I think this may have been the best onion rings I’ve ever had. Generous portions. And when we got our bill, it did not break the bsnk. Very reasonable. Would not hesitate to go back or to recommend this place to anyone. Great experience.“

“got the pulled pork sandwich. meat had ZERO flavor and was as dry as boomer humor. the seasoning sauce was water scared with garlic powder. potato salad was disrespectfully disgusting. banana pudding was watery and the bananas were black. green beans were dumped from a can and had less seasoning than printer paper. Mac and cheese was essentially just pasta in a cheese water sauce and the atrocity of what they dare to call sweet tea was an insult to all southerners. get a better staff too. they carried a conversation and it was quite clear they wanted to keep talking when I was approaching. the lady at the pickup register talked over me and was obviously annoyed to be at work.“

“I usually stop by Foosackly’s in Semmes on Fridays after a sport event, football, baseball, basketball and enjoy a salad and some tenders with my wife. Last Friday, after getting home, I found that the tenders were a little over cooked resulting in a rock hard batter which was uncomfortable to bite or chew. My wife called and spoke to Ethan the manager and he quickly offered a gift card equal to our charge so that we can get our Friday night game Foo on our next visit. After a mixup with the email, Ethan was true to his word and sent the card directly to our email. Ethan was absolutely wonderful to my wife and did everything that a business should do to keep customers coming back. Thank you Ethan…. We’ll see you Friday night.“

“They are delicious and I will always come back but their parking lot situation is awful. The wait times are also really long. I have an hour lunch, ordered online for pick up and it still took the entire hour to get my food and get back. They’re only about 8 minutes from my job. Their drive through goes in front of parking spots and other business as well as an entrance/ exit to the shopping center.“

“I went there and I was amazed.It was a truly family atmosphere , Mrs Toni is a hidden treasure! Her kids also work there and their best friend. “Best BBQ on planet Earth. I routinely drive 3 hours just to get ribs and sauce. Shipping is great for sauce but I prefer ribs right off the grill. The people in every single Dreamland have been so kind and helpful in accommodating me for travel back home. If you're on the interstate and you see a sign for Dreamland, you've arrived at a place you'll crave after you leave so don't forget the quarts of sauce. It's last meal good.“

“I went there Sunday with Vicki Horn Gray. I had the N'awlins Grits with shrimp, what a wake up to the palate. The best food I have had in forever. I cannot wait to go back and try more menu items.
