Nothing to explain here if you love good ole cornbread with that country fried steak or chicken or fish etc. , creamy mashed potatoes , some beans and greens . They all are good . Its simple delicious and puts a big smile on your face . The service is good , staff is friendly and the food is great . So if you are in shoals area then check this one out of many country cooking places in Shoals . Its a good one .“
“The prices where great and the double bacon cheeseburger was a tough burger too eat but it was so darn good I ate it all the service are very nice and treat you like family and the place inside is very colorful which I like colorful colors and they always ask if you need something I really loved this place.“
“Breakfast and coffee dates here are always fantastic! The black bean breakfast burrito is so yummy and fresh! Addictive and filling. The caramel lover's drink is delicious. The chai isn't as strong as I'd like but the rest of their coffees have a lot of flavor and impact. My friend loves the hot chocolate and peanut butter banana sandwich.Only issue with the cafe is lack of areas to plug in a laptop/phone. Good amount of seating and lighting. Would be a great study spot otherwise.“
“I was visiting my daughter and we decided to go here based on the reviews. It was good home cooked food. We went for Sunday lunch. You order from your car and they give it to you to go. I recommend looking up the menu online because they have a long line of cars and no menu to view. I got the chicken & dressing with sweet potato casserole. It was really good. I couldn't eat it all.“
“Very convenient quick and easy place to grab lunch and deserts in downtown Florence where everything is very reasonably priced! Cafe 222 is run by 2 of the most polite people I have ever met that make some of the best homemade entree's, sides, and especially desserts. Every time I go to lunch here, I sometimes can't help myself but to get a brownie as well because of how great they look and taste. It is defiantly a must to try the chicken, squash, and potato casseroles along with going back to try the meatloaf as well.“
“Y'all have to try this place out. They cook like my mama! So good. Turnip greens did not have any sugar, you could taste the sage in the chicken and dressing and the potato salad had mustard in it. Mexican cornbread from scratch with pickles jalapenos. Yum. Meat 3 veggies drink and desert. $9.“
