“The food was hot, fresh and very delicious! The service was great and family friendly, and the atmosphere was nice! We ate the shrimp and chicken strip baskets and had the fried pickles for the appetizer!! EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS AND EVERYONE WAS VERY FRIENDLY!!“
“Older building but it's part of the charm. Friendly, prompt service. There are 2 or 3 tables but mostly a counter with stools. Lots of fun! Food is plentiful. The owner actually comes around to make sure you are happy. Personal service at it's finest!Wheelchair accessibility: There are 2-3 small tables a wheelchair could sit.“
“This place rocks! Excellently prepared fried oysters, fine but minute hush puppies with a hint of onion, good coleslaw and nice folks who know what they are doing (need to return to leave more tip?) This little hole in the wall place is going on my playlist ! Loved it. Minimal hours of operation though. Will take friends, too!“
“Friendly service and wonderful pastry. Fresh with great flavor. Would like a little more coffee variety but what they have tasted good. Would like a little better seating for more dine in. No complaints though. Great place, best donuts I've found. Definitely will go back.“
“Great slugburgers! If you're not familiar with them , look them up before you order. Don't expect a regular hamburger then give a bad review because you didn't know what you ordered. This area is famous for slugburgers. Simple cheap but great! You can get them with everything on it but the best ones are just mustard pickle and onion.“
“The food is good and the atmosphere is fine. Just a good little restaurant in a nice community. It’s too bad they are closed so often. It seems that every time you get the urge to drive over there, CLOSED. Very odd business hours but good food.“
“After getting donuts elsewhere and being disappointed, we immediately looked for other local donut shops and came upon Max's Donuts. We got a wide variety of donuts and each one was absolutely amazing. The doughnuts are light and not overly sweet. Each morning, my husband and I make a stop at Max's Donuts, and there's no better way to start the day. We wish we would have come across Max's way sooner.“
