Yes, I’ve seen the past negative reviews, but I suspect they were going through some internal changes, so I get it. But this place truly hit home for me. The food was significantly better than the old menu, and the drinks were simply amazing.“

“We took the Amtrak Mardi Gras from New Orleans to Mobile for a quick weekend trip. We stayed at The Battle House Hotel and ate Saturday night at the The Trellis Room. From the moment we sat down the service, cocktails, and food were fabulous. The ambiance was very romantic, however there were groups or friends, families, as well as couples in there when we ate. We had the mussels and the pork belly for appetizers. The pork belly was amazing. For dinner I had the Wild Mushroom Alfredo Tagliatelle. It was rich and creamy and the mushrooms were perfect. They asked if I wanted to add a protein but I declined. I'm not sure if it would have made it better. My husband had the Grilled Beef Tenderloin Filets. It was cooked perfectly and the vegetables that came with it were so good. His old fashions were really good and my dirty martini was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant.“
