I sat in and had a BBQ sandwich and fries which was pretty good and hot! I was greeted upon entering which was nice! I noticed the young lady in the drive thru. She smiled a lot and seemed very friendly with all the customers that came through. She definitely set a great example for her co workers. I would love to come back and see everyone wearing matching hooks bbq t shirts!
Hook's is an attack on the senses. Smoke was rolling out of the chimney when we pulled up, the dining room has a style and decor that's soothing and comfortable, and the food is packed with flavor. We were most impressed with the smoked chicken sandwich. Tender and juicy, not many joints execute chicken this well. The pulled pork with the house sauce, which is orange in color, is delicious. Also loved the baked beans and fries and every plate comes with a slice of pound...
