The food is always pretty good except for the fries. I've been to this location pretty frequently for the past few months, and every time the fries have barely any seasoning on them. Even if I ask for extra seasoning on the fries, they come barely salted.
food and service was good
I'll give 5 stars because they do what is by far the most important thing consistently, every time I've been there, in fact, and that is provide hot, fresh, delicious food. Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings in Troy, AL, offers a mix of experiences. Some find the breaded shrimp too salty and old, with burnt pieces, while the chicken tenders are a hit, especially with kids. The vegetarian options, like the egg rolls and Zensation Zalad, are enjoyable. The service has been inconsistent, with drive-thru mishaps that are slowly getting resolved. Parking is ample, and the wheelchair accessibility is good. However, there have been instances of online orders not being ready, with the dining room closing unexpectedly, leading to long waits and disappointment. Despite these hiccups, the restaurant seems to be making efforts to make amends, with refunds and coupons provided when things go awry. Overall, Zaxby's is a decent fast-food choice in the area, known for its chicken tenders and varying service levels.
