This is my kind of place, a small roadside joint. They always have the best food. We shared a two meat plate, and it was just right for us. A patron told us this was the best food around as we walked in the door. He wasn't lying.

Funky place that met this yankee’s pent-up need for catfish and greens. Yup, the cashier had just the right level of sass, but they understood our gluten-free needs, and gave us a good chuckle now and then.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free was easy.

I used to like this place but at some point they started ruining some of their food. The greens are sweet with a weird flavor. They always miss at least one side. They stopped giving you cornbread with your greens or peas. They don't give you tarter sauce with your catfish. A small banana pudding is $1.75 and a large is $5.00 When you order the large you just get two smalls and last time it was all whipped topping this time it was all vanilla wafers.
