“I never write reviews, but the service and server was horrible. To forgetting things we asked for when taking our orders, to getting rude when asking for the things we asked for when we ordered our food. Brought our checks out , and then said she had to add gratuity, even tho one of my friends had already paid her ticket. She voided it out, and gave her the new ticket. Charged me gratuity on the 2 To-Go orders I had on my ticket. Thank goodness the manger split the Check up. The server was literally talking over my friend that was with us that was explaining the problems we were experiencing, and the manager finally told her to leave the conversation. We love the Gardendale location, we always go there with my daughter's whole ball team, and never once were we charged gratuity, and the service and food have always been excellent. The manager said, it was from corporate is the reason for mandatory gratuity for people 6 and over. Totally not true!!! Would NOT recommend the Tuscaloosa Mugshots!!!“

“Our experience is always amazing here but this time was better than them all. From the host to our server, Quinn, the service was exceptional. I wish I could make them rich! I had the bacon burger and my bun was toasted perfectly, my patty was cooked the exact temperature, and the fries are always nice and crispy. Thank you, Quinn!!“

“Had an overall good experience. The interior is eclectic and quirky, with dollar bills stapled throughout — definitely adds character, even if I’m still not entirely sure of the tradition behind it.
I sat at the bar and the service was a standout. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to refill drinks, which made the experience comfortable and welcoming. The fries were fresh, hot, and crispy — easily one of the highlights.
The burger was decent but didn’t quite hit the mark for me. It wasn’t a full smashburger, more somewhere in between, and leaned a bit overcooked. The bacon was also on the overdone side, which took away from the overall richness and juiciness I was hoping for.
That said, the atmosphere and service make this a solid spot, and I’d return — especially for drinks and fries. With a little more consistency on the burgers, this could easily be a five-star experience.“

“Buffalo Phil’s is a great spot with a fun atmosphere and solid food. The fried mushrooms are an absolute must-try crispy, flavorful, and easily the highlight of the meal. Everything was well prepared and enjoyable. It is a little on the pricey side, but the quality and experience make it worth it. Definitely a place I’d recommend, especially if you’re going with friends.“

“The service at this Mexican restaurant was excellent and the food is outstanding. My wife had street tacos and absolutely loved them. I opted for the Alambre Fajitas, which were incredibly delicious. The portion size was generous, so I had to order a box to take home. Their queso and salsa were also fantastic. To top it off, we had fried ice cream for dessert, which was the best I’ve ever had in Tuscaloosa. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for great Mexican food. I know my family will be eating there again.“

“During our mid-morning breakfast at Hardee's, Zorra, the cashier, demonstrated exceptional attentiveness to the needs of all customers. Even when individuals returned to the order counter, she would pause briefly to inquire about their needs. Zorra would then promptly fulfill their requests before quickly returning to assist the current customer. Despite a long line cars in drive-thru that extended around the building; and one or two people waiting in the lobby, plus a continuous flow of hungry customers entering the lobby area, Zorra made each of us feel as though she was dedicated to assisting everyone. Kudos to Zorra for excellent customer care!“

“Looks al lot Hooligan's to me, but whatever. I highly recommend Hooligan's. I tried a cheeseburger at Hoolies and I notice its a standard patty more restaurants are using. Better than standard fast food.
