This is the first restaurant I have been to in Tuscaloosa and it was absolutely fantastic. I am living in Germany this summer so I wanted to try a lot of different foods at this German cafe. I ordered 6 different menu items here and every single one was delicious and low priced. Casual atmosphere, not busy at all. The whole place including the bathrooms was spotless. Highly recommend to anyone in the area for breakfast or lunch.

Simply put, the best place for breakfast! I've been eating hotel breakfast the past few days and finally decided to go explore. This is the first place that showed on yelp and I can see why. The food is amazing and the prices are low. So many house-made baked goods that I could come here every day for a month and still not have tried everything offered here. Went to Edelweiss specially to get a German breakfast . This is exactly what we got . I loved the authentic German bakery items . There was not enough time to try one of each. We talked to Ester and she is super friendly and made me feel like a regular. This is now my to go to breakfast cafe while staying in the area.
