Thai Basil Sushi II provides a wonderful dining experience with attentive staff and delicious food. Popular dishes include Coconut Shrimp Soup, Shrimp Fried Rice, Pad See-U, Panang Curry, Chicken Pad Thai, and Panang Beef. The restaurant offers gluten, lactose, and soy-free options, suitable for those with dietary restrictions. Generous portion sizes ensure that their meals can serve as multiple meals for some. The atmosphere is cozy and clean, making it a great place for gatherings. Food is also available for delivery and is fresh and flavorful. The service is friendly, and the sushi, including the nigiri, is super fresh and surprisingly affordable. The owners are from Thailand and know how to make it authentically. The Panang Chicken is the best, and the Crème Brûlée is better than any had in nice restaurants. Their kindness is superb. The restaurant is the best in Tuscaloosa, not messing around with flavor or size or spice. Go to options are namtok beef, drunken noodles, and pad Thai all Thai Hot. The spicy tuna roll was questionable, but other rolls were really good and fresh tasting. Parking is more available Monday through Wednesday.
