Great wine tasting and paired food choices
We had sunday brunch here and the food was amazing! Best chicken and waffles in town. Our server was polite and efficient. The space in this restaurant is lacking greatly. On both sides of our table we had the people behind pushing us in. The space also echos a lot so we couldnt hear each other well so we couldnt really talk.
Sweet Home Food Bar is a must-visit restaurant in Tuscaloosa. The chicken and waffles are amazing, and the portion sizes are just right - not too much, not too little. The atmosphere is unique with beautiful art on the walls. The staff is friendly and the service is fantastic. Despite the limited space and echoing noise, the delicious food and excellent service make up for it. Located conveniently on University Boulevard, this place offers a New York with a Southern Flair experience. The pasta with shrimp and chicken dishes are outstanding, and even the Caesar salad is worth a try. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Sweet Home Food Bar is definitely worth a visit.
