This place was amazing! Best Asian food I’ve ever had! The service was impeccable and the staff was so kind and polite. It’s a hidden gem in a strip of stores. Also, it’s now called Kishi instead of Tokyo. Anyways WOW!
This is absolutely the best Japanese Restaurant in T-Town!! ? I went by a few weeks ago and they are temporarily closed!? I really hope they reopen soon, as they are family. We have been going here for over 30 years! Hopefully they will respond to my comment!
Tokyo is the best Japanese Steakhouse in Tuscaloosa, and the best Japanese steakhouse I've ever been to. It wins over Hokkaido (who is in 2nd place), due to their great noodles and very strong tasting shrimp sauce (yum yum sauce). I would give Hokkaido a slight edge in the taste of their meats, rice and vegetables, but not enough to oust Tokyo from its place on the thrown of Japanese in Tuscaloosa.
