“The Hatter Cafe was such a nice surprise and wonderful experience when my Boyfriend and I came to Mentone for a quick weekend getaway. We stopped at the gift shop and had a chat with the owner, ordered 2 loaves of their fresh delicious bread, and came back for dinner at the café. It was amazing and the service was top notch! The experience was so wonderful that we came back for breakfast. If you are ever in this neck of the woods, give them a try, you won't regret it!”

“My husband and I are from out of time and we stopped by thinking this place was a bakery . We was greeted by a friendly staff member which told us about the restaurant and let us know what her favorites were , we purchased some sweets and thanked her . We spend the afternoon talking about what she had recommended if we would come back for dinner . Well we did and the same staff member greeted us and she was our waitress and was so friendly and itentive to our needs/wants. The food was absolutely delicious- I ate a cup of chili as in appetizers and then the Blackend Chicken Alfredo (which was recommended)for my meal - the Alfredo came with a dinner roll that was so good . My husband had the hamburger and fries which was very good . We ate some of the sweets (chocolate chip cookie) for our snack tonight and that was so good . I would recommend this place and if we are ever back in this area will will definitely eat here again”

So nice still out in a rural area and have access to great food great service and great people When we go in. It’s even better love the fresh guacamole at the table.”
