Had a great experience today at Rib Shak, enjoyed a nice half rack of ribs with potatoe salad and baked beans. Portions were very generous and had a wonderful talk with Mr. Floyd the owner, very nice man.
Great experience and food. New storefront location in town and I’m sure that this place will continue to grow in popularity.
The pulled pork was full of flavor and the ribs were fantastic. The Cole slaw had a great flavor as well.

We visited while passing through Fort Payne. It’s a cute little hole in the wall bbq joint with a good location. Staff seemed friendly enougn too. No complaints on atmosphere, staff, or those perfect fried green tomatoes. The ribs were some of the worst I’ve ever eaten! Very tough, greasy, and offensively smoky. Inedible without a bit of salt and sauce. They tasted as if they’d been drowned in liquid smoke. 7 hours later, I’m still burping up smoke. It’s like...
