This restaurant was recommended by the Air BNB host while we were visiting Mentone, Al. We were not impressed at all.We went for breakfast. The grits were not seasoned, had no butter and was just a big clump in a bowl. The quiche was not very good. Overall, the food was a let down to have driven 17 minutes out of the way to eat there.The waitress was nice but not very friendly.The place was clean and we really liked the America and flag on one display wall.

My family and I love this spot. Small spot with big flavors. I always have to get a plate of the hash browns. If you are ever in the Valley Head area, you definitely need to stop in for a bite to eat. The staff is always very friendly and respectful. No bad words to speak of this spot.
