Captain D's in Valley, Alabama, is a top-notch restaurant with fresh, hot food. The grilled whitefish & shrimp is a must-try, while the fish, fries, popcorn shrimp, and hush puppies are also delicious. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable, although parking can be tight. Food is hit or miss sometimes with spices or amounts. Service is slow but that is expected. The chatty woman at the window is sooo nice and makes it seem like you are at a family restaurant. Captain D's is definitely worth a visit.
