“I came in for business meeting Sat.I was so happy to see them up and running well.Customer service is second nature to this duo.I heard them greet every customer while also telling them the history of hotel.I did quick tour also once meeting over.You guys are so welcoming .10/5 my son got the oreo.blended drink and it was over.Will be back soon.If you haven't been you should try it asap”

“Ok while the donuts (ones they have) are good & so are the other items. BUT the customer service is NOT good, there is no “Good morning, Thank you, or come back to see us” nothing! No personality it seems. Also the selection is no where near what the menu is. I’ve been several times lately and they have 3 different flavors of donuts. Please don’t have a menu if you don’t have the items. Just my opinion. Like I said the items they have are great! I know this is a very mixed review.”

“We went today September 14 as it was the first day to reopen the buffet since the Covid mess caused them to have to close the buffet and it again was not a let down. The food was great as well as the service. It is a joy to go to this restaurant. If you haven’t tried it or have been when the buffet was open before, then you need to head back, they have it up and going again. ❤️❤️”

“All of our food was delicious. We had fajitas, nachos, tacos, enchiladas, and quesadillas. Their guacamole is the best in town! We loved the festive paintings on the walls. Nice outdoor eating area, too.”

“We love Golden Star in this house! My family and I agree that if there's one thing you have to try, it's the Hot & Sour soup! Plus, they're always so sweet when we come to pick up our orders, and you can tell they really care about how their customer base feels.”

“We heard good things about this place and we're really excited to try it. The Lady working the counter was not the friendliest to start with.The food is good, but not more than average. I assume there's only one choice of bbq sauce, because we weren't asked what kind we'd like, and i thought it was ketchup when I tasted it. Again, the food is good, just like any other bbq joint.”

“One of the worst meals I've ever eaten and the biggest waste of money. First we were overcharged. Had to get that corrected. Told a 25 min wait on food. 48 mins later we got our food. The pork, chicken bbq, and burgers were all dry. Fries are terrible. One of the bbq Sauce taste like Kraft. Found 2 hairs in 2 of our meals. The "smoked" chicken doesn't taste smoked at all. It was cooked on the grill. Both chicken and burger was full of gristle. My 9 year old wouldn't even eat his food. We will never be back.”

“Probably the best fried chicken place in Harpersville. I say that jokingly because it’s one of the only chicken places in Harpersville however it’s a great addition and I’m so glad that it’s here. As a big fan of Popeyes chicken I can say that the food is always delicious and always consistent with that served at other Popeyes locations. What makes this location even more special is the staff. Their bright smiles and warm hearted welcomes as we come into the door. They were kind and patient while we looked over the menu and we’re available to answer questions or provide assistance when needed. I am very grateful for the experience that they provided and highly recommend this location to anyone, and cannot wait to return.”

“Food was great when you got it. From ordering to getting your food takes forever waited almost 40 minutes but it was hot and fresh so if you don't mind waiting go I still go because they have good food.”
