“Looking for a good steak and salad, and certainly found it here. Tucked away at the farthest side of a strip mall largely hidden from the main highway, it is a gem. The staff was friendly, and the service prompt. The salad bar was quite good, with much of the usual items, but a surprise or tow like pickled okra. I ordered steak and fried okra, that was cooked to order and correctly. The okra was crisp. My other family members enjoyed the salad bar and the chicken strips were superb.“

“We were traveling through the area and simply looking for the next place on the map to grab something to eat. We had no idea Grill 22 was located inside the Holiday Inn, and when we pulled up, we almost decided not to go inside. That would have been a BIG mistake!

The service was great, and the food was excellent. I ordered the Bacon Pepper Jelly Smashed Burger, and I was very impressed. It was absolutely delicious, and the side of fries was cooked perfectly.

The rest of the family ordered the chicken quesadillas, and they could rival what you’d get at a good Mexican restaurant. They were loaded with chicken, cheese, peppers, and onions and cooked just right.

Grill 22 was a total accidental find in the little town of Guin, Alabama but now it’s officially on our map! Sometimes the places you stumble across while traveling turn out to be the ones you remember.
