“Stopped by to pick up lunch for a family visit nearby while passing through on the way home to South Carolina. It had been a long time since we ate at a Jack's, but were quite pleased with the chicken and slaw. The mashed potatoes were okay, but we received no gravy. And the price was reasonable. Again each of us in 45 minutes did not get an order then they came out with in bag and one drink. This lady had a car load of kids! And they didn’t fill the entire order! “We saw the good reviews and decided to stop for local flavor. The restaurant was clean and appealing. I found the food to be tasteless. WOW what a little salt, pepper, and garlic would have done. I don't understand restaurants that say if someone wants salt or pepper they can add it theirselves.“
