“I've always had great experiences when I've eaten at Slim Chickens. I love being able to watch sports while I'm eating, but I also love their food. Those fries are amazing! However, let me tell you about another dish I fell in love with this weekend. I was in there Friday and got my usual, chicken strips and fries, but noticed a macaroni and chicken strips bowl. I asked how big it was and decided to get one for the weekend. WOW!! It was fantastic!! It comes in an oval shaped bowl and is very filling and VERY tasty!! Maybe my new favorite!! On top of that, it was cheaper than my normal order!!“

“This eatery will be closing October 1 due to the construction of the new highway. So everyone needs to come on in and get their last chicken for a while. The closing will result in the restaurant being totally demolished. It will be reopening across the street from Laney's as we all know by the old school. Not sure when it will be reopening, but it will be though.“

“The person taking the orders up front, was on his phone when we entered. Had to wait for him to finish texting or whatever he was doing. He wasn't at all interested in our order. Pointing to the menu board, for a blind man. Really. I had tenders that were barely chewable. My companions side order was wrong. I was disappointed. I've never had an issue with this particular restaurant.“
