I’ve been eating here since 2009 everytime I’m in Louisiana I have to have. I wish they would venture out to Georgia close to Atlanta or Conyers how do you go about requesting a franchise location in Atlanta or surrounding area? I know for a fact they would sell out daily there. Please reach out if this is possible or how to make this possible.
I went to southern classic chicken on Thursday January 29, 2026 and ordered my food. My chicken looked like it had been dipped back in the grease as if to get it hot. It made it look real greasy. I didn’t realize it till I got home because I live far away. I was very disappointed. Maybe I came on a bad day. I realize all the restaurants are not the same.

Southern Classic Chicken is a go-to spot for some of the best damn chicken and sides around. Despite not always receiving the friendliest service, the food is consistently delicious and never disappoints. Sadly, the restaurant will be closing on October 1 due to highway construction but will be reopening across the street from Laney's in the future. Don't miss out on your last chance to enjoy their tasty meals before the demolition!
