“Stopped in for an early dinner on the route from Texas to Kentucky. \n\nWe enjoyed the pulled pork plate and sandwich. The turnip greens and onion rings were superb, while the BBQ sauce, slaw, and baked beans were a bit too sweet for our tastes. \n\nService was incredibly \nattentive and personable. I noticed that others who ordered the fried fish were waiting quite a while to receive their meals. \n\nWe both agreed we would come back to Nick's but order different sides than those mentioned above as being too sweet.“

“I got a chicken fried steak plate and loved every bite. My husband got a blackened catfish plate that was fantastic. The portions could of been a little bigger but overall the food is hard to beat. Prices are a little high but location had alot to do with that. The family that owns and operates it are so sweet and kind. We walked in as a table of 10-12 and they did their best to show us great service. Thank you for a great family dinner.“

“Their brisket isn't all that good, especially if your used to good old Texas brisket. But the pulled pork and ribs are pretty yummy! Most of the sides are little high on calories, which could be good or bad, depending on your diet desires. They have some petty good deserts also.“
