“I'm learning things about Arkansas bbq. Some of these restaurants we are visiting have been around for decades and the locals swear by them. While I wouldn't necessarily continue to go to them, because of differing definitions of how the meat gets smoked, these places continue to do well. JJ's is one of these examples. Brisket doesn't really taste smoked or bbqed but has a decent flavor. Sausage is delicious. Baked beans were the best part of the meal and the coleslaw was just average. Employees were very nice. Would go back in a pinch.“
“Nice family run restaurant, very clean and friendly service. We had the pulled pork and brisket both were excellent. The ribs were amazing, great dry rub flavor! Their sauce is a nice vinegar base. Sides were delicious. But if you don't get the banana pudding you're missing out.“
