Food was excellent and service was great.
Outside of town, casual restaurant with nice menu and a bar with a patio that overlooks the water, sometimes depending on the level.
The food was so good that we ate it before getting a picture! I had the combo platter of catfish and shrimp with tomato relish and mashed potatoes. The relish is delicious. Nice portion of fish and shrimp and it tasted good. My husband had a burger and he said it was very good.

Angler's Lake & Steak is a wonderful place with delicious food and incredibly nice staff. The wait staff is really friendly and attentive. The restaurant is doggie friendly and has cute decor with lots of plants and light, feeling bright and summery. The sweet tea and hush puppies are fantastic. The burgers are great, and the wings with sweet chili sauce are top-notch. The catfish sandwich comes with onion, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and sauce, with great portion sizes and fresh crisp fries. The food is awesome, and the service feels homely and welcoming. The owner is fabulous, and the staff brings so much joy. Angler’s food is great, prices are beyond reasonable, and service is friendly and efficient. There is authenticity in every aspect of the experience. Do not deprive yourself of this joy.
