“The food was amazing. The catfish was hot and crisp. The onion rings light and crispy. The slaw was fresh. The fresh baked bread and bread pudding was the best I've ever had, and the tea was perfect. The staff are friendly. They test you like family! The location is out away from town and perfect. I love this place.“

“My wife and stopped here a few times on our trips between Texas and West Virginia. We always loved the atmosphere and staff as well as the food. My wife is deceased now, but I still make the same trip to visit my in-laws and try to stop here when the timing is right, as it was today for breakfast. I had the Dolly, which is a unique take on sausage and biscuits, where the biscuits are actually sausage and biscuit sandwiches, so you get a double-hit of sausage.“

“My wife and I stopped by and ordered 2 cheese burgers and fries. My wife is very particular as to how well done and seasoned her burger is. Upon receiving our order we found that our burgers were cooked very well and seasoned perfectly (my wife said it's one of the best burgers she has tasted and she is PICKY). The fries were crisp and lightly salted and were a very good side item. We topped off our meal with a strawberry milkshake for myself and a chocolate milkshake for my wife. I must say there is something to be said about the taste of a milkshake from an authentic dairy bar that far surpasses any from the large corporate chain restaurants. Local definitely gets my vote! This was our first time stopping by but it certainly won't be our last! And by the way the management is very easy to work with so if you have any questions or concerns just let them know.
