“We stopped here with our puppies in tow after making a 1.5 hour trek to the strawberry farm from Hot Springs. Searching for restaurants with a dog friendly patio, Gadwall's came up on the list. The photos and menu looked good so we gave it a shot.

We got situated on the patio and notified the restaurant we were there, the server seemed busy. We got our drinks and order placed. The food came out very fast, like I couldn't even comprehend how the kitchen made it that fast, but everything was fresh, hot and delicious.

They have gluten free bread which was a pleasant surprise, and the gluten free bread presented like a biscuit crossed with a sandwich roll, it was very good. Fries and fried pickles came out piping hot and fresh had to blow on them, so everything was straight from the kitchen. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We were given to go containers and cups which was nice.

This place looks off the radar and doesn't look like anything fancy, but the food is excellent, staff is kind and we'd definitely return when we're in the neighborhood. If you're on the fence, I'd definitely say give it a shot.“

“I was passing through town and met a friend here for dinner and this establishment was such a great find! There was plenty of seating, but we chose to sit at the bar. The bartender was friendly and engaging, helped us choose some popular menu items, and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed.

The comfortable rapport between the staff and patrons made it clear this is a favorite spot for regulars, and it gave the place a welcoming feel. We ordered the pub chips and a salad, and both were flavorful and delicious. The generous portions were also a great value for the price!

Everything was excellent as usual. The food never misses, and our server Caitlyn was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond in every way, even when we asked to move to a bigger table to accomodate the quantity of food we tend to order, fetching extra seasoning since somebody apparently keeps throwing away the Tony Chacheres containers. 👀 Seriously… she and her awesome helper (didn't get her name) deserve a raises 100%. And bonus points for not just dropping the check after the main course & a few beers and disappearing like some of these youngens do nowadays 😂 She actually took care of us the whole time. We even grabbed a limited-time strawberry shortcake made with Holland Bottom Farm LLC strawberries to-go due to her recommendarion… and I promise it looked a lot better before it took a ride home in the Dark Horse and the kiddo got ahold of it . She guided us along the menu like she knew it like a spider knows their web. Went with the ribeye which was perfectly cooked. The decor is nice and the vibes are genuine. The real star tho of the experience was the server Elizabeth who was one of the most professional and knowledgeable servers I’ve ever had. If you come here I absolutely recommend you asking for her !
