Food was delicious. Portions were small and not inexpensive. They charge $6.50 for plate sharing (which is, in my opinion, ridiculous) and I can tell you, you want to order your own entree as I left hungry (which is highly unusual for me). I ordered the eggplant parmesan and the menu description states that it is served over spaghetti. It was not. When I asked about it, I was told that it is more of a "lasagna" dish and does NOT come with spaghetti but if you look at the menu,...read full review
We had heard about the Crab Ravioli and wanted to try. (also had mushroom ravioli) The food was outstanding.! The service was excellent, and it was a busy night. This is such a nice little restaurant and the prices are surprisingly reasonable.
First time customer. BEST SOUP I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! A FLAVOR EXPLOSION. Real food. The secret recipes were passed down generations. The second you walk in, you can just smell the Italian spices and the pizza dough is handmade right in front of you! So good, I cannot wait to go back for the salad, bread and entre'. Lunch specials run $11.00-$14.00. Delicious!:)

Ambrosia at Angels Italian Restaurant & Bar offers a mix of experiences. The food receives praise, with the Chicken Diane described as the best ever had, and the spaghetti and meatballs called delicious with homeade meatballs. The brick oven pizzas are awesome and loved, and the Italian cream cake is the best cake ever tasted. Service is often great, with very friendly staff, an attentive hostess/waitress, and helpful waiters. However, some note the service can be a bit slow, and the wait for food is average. The atmosphere is nice, though the restaurant needs a little TLC and is not super inviting from the outside. The food is good and typical Italian, but some find it a bit pricey and nothing special. Overall, many would definitely return and come again.
