The Colonial is my favorite place for breakfast in town! Their pancakes and waffles are easily the best in town! Plus, the staff are all sweet, and they treat you like family.
For feel-good comfort food and a cozy vibe to start a day of adventures in Hot Springs, go see them. You won't be disappointed.

We live in the south and not having a Jewish deli close, I was a bit hesitant to try the corned beef on rye sandwich, even though when done correctly it's one of my favorites. I am so so pleased that I did though, I haven't had a sandwich that delicious and perfect in about 15 years... I live about 4 hours away but this sandwich has absolutely sealed the deal on making Hot Springs a regular vacation destination. Yum yummy!!

Chicken fried steak was absolutely delicious, diced potatoes with onions and peppers were hot and fresh but not greasy, biscuit was just out of the oven and tasted like my great aunt’s old fashioned recipe, so good!!

Forgot to take a picture of my plate (The Scout). Delicious! Sausage was a bit spicy but perfect and the gravy with my coffee?! OMG! The service? Friendly and made great suggestions! And purchased hot sauces that we tasted with our meal. We will be back!

This place is a gem. We are there on a Saturday morning and had to go back on Sunday to eat again and try something different. The atmosphere is quaint, food is wonderful. We come to Hot Springs every spring and we will definitely be back.

Everything was tasty and made to order. Waitress was attentive but the prices were a bit much. My family of 4 order two entrees and 2 kids meals and we all got water and it was $63 before tip!

The wait is extremely long. We waited for over 30 minutes for a table.
The restaurant is small, with very few tables inside. I'd estimate they have less than 15 tables available at any given time.
But ...
The food was absolutely delicious!!!!
French Toast was almost perfect!
Pancakes were tasty, fluffy and perfect!
The cinnamon rolls???? Hands down the most delicious treat in Hot Springs!
