I've been looking for a good bbq place in town for a while, especially one with good brisket (I learned to love bbq in Texas). Que 49 hit that mark. Brisket was tender and flavorful, the potato salad was brimming with flavor, and I even think they make their own tortillas. My wife got the burnt ends and they were also huge chunks that were delicious.
Their sauces were amazing. Their regular sauce was pretty sweet if you like that, but they had a cranberry cayenne sauce that was one of the best sauces I've had at a bbq place. Not too sweet, not too hot, a touch of cranberry mixed with that chili pepper flavor. I sure hope it's not just a fall flavor, I would be sad to see it go.
Edit: hooray! The cranberry cayenne is here to stay!

We had the best experience here for lunch! Met the owner, who gave us great recommendations and was so kind. When he found out we were classical musicians in town for a concert, he brought out his pit master who is also a musician, to meet us. Food was excellent, atmosphere was great. Highly recommend!

Food and service were outstanding!
Best BBQ I have ever had. You have to try the Brisket Burnt ends sandwich. OMG! Its to die for. Best part is that its family owned. I will definitely be back when im in town again.

It's the real deal! Tons of flavor in my sandwich & the burnt ends were amazing! I'll be stopping again.
As a whole, the restaurant was good. The decor was very barbecue-esk but a little more on the hunting side for my taste. Another note on the interior is that it feels kind of dark if you do not sit at the front of th building. The food tasted great, a variety of interesting barbecue sauces, I tried the cranberry cayenne. It was a little sweet, but had a burn on the end. I tried the brisket sandwich, which tasted good, not the best brisket ive eaten, but good for up here. I had the coleslaw which left some to be desired in my eyes, but they had fries which looked great. If you do go here, just know that you will be hardpressed to find a seat. Its a pretty small restaurant that is mostly only open at lunch. Mostly only open then since they do not make more food that day, they serve what they have and then close up, so lunch is packed. Overall, enjoyed the food, environment felt like a barbecue restaurant, and the staff seem nice.

Outstanding bbq and more. This is a must visit
I'm giving it a 2 bc everyone else talked highly about it on google, but when I went in (and I drove from NWA), they were out of everything at 5:30, and on a Friday night! We walked out and went to another bbq place. Plus, they didn't have fried okra on the menu. It is unAmerican to not have fried okra at a bbq place, period. If you are a bbq place you don't run out of the meats, especially at 5:30 on a Friday night. That's the whole point. Steak places don't run out of steak, just sayin'. I wish I would've had a chance to give you a better review! Be there when they open to get the meats. Very frustrating.

Really great place to eat. The ribs are very juicy and has a really great smoke flavor.
Que 49 had the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered. Where other BBQ spots in Jonesboro fell short, they soared among the stars. Their brisket was the best I’ve ever tasted, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was warm, welcoming, and inviting. I had an absolute blast and enjoyed some incredible food while I was at it.
Move aside, Demos — there’s a new sheriff in town!
Mama always said, “You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar,” and Que 49 proves it. Their customer service is second to none; they are true experts in making you feel at home.
The kindest people ever!!! Everyone is so nice and makes the atmosphere perfect. I have been to so many places and this one is the best. The food was absolutely perfect and mouth watering and the portions were the best I have ever seen. I would come here everyday if I could!! 100/100 would recommend to everyone!!!
I consider myself a BBQ connoisseur. This is BY FAR the best BBQ I've had in NEA, maybe ALL of AR. Everything we had was outstanding. Burnt ends, brisket, pulled pork, the sides, all delicious. I live 125 miles away, and I WILL be returning soon to enjoy this incredible place. The staff was incredibly friendly too. And its priced right. Go here, you won't be disappointed.
Great food and service
