“My husband and I arrived at Taco and Tamale Co in the Heights as we were scouting for places to eat and ended up sitting at the bar for amazing service. The restaurant was packed, yet we still received excellent service. We placed a to go order for our main course food and had cheese dip and chips during the wait. Very nice environment. Friendly people. The food was delicious. I had the 12 tamale meal. I will definately be back. I'm so glad we discovered this place.“

“After moving out of Little Rock years ago, we had a chance to come to LR so a stop at Palenque was a MUST. The chilaquiles Verdes Con Pollo are a family tradition for us and we did not disappoint. Remains the BEST all-round Mexican North of the border!“

“for me it was just right. freshly cooked perfectly to the "T" the host explained everything ie: charges for to go container and so on. I'm not sure I understand it correctly but I can always confirm when I order. I had the chicken fajita chimichanga. Friendly.“

“TACOS WERE EXCELLENT LIKE MEXICO WITH A SMALL TORTILLA. He opens at 5pm Friday & 3pm Sat, & Sun till 11pm or when he runs out of meat. He has a paper & pen that YOU write down your taco order. You can call in your order to eat to go or there, he has tables inside with A/C or you can eat outside. Also there is a restroom inside. He Has Soft drinks or freshly made Fruit water. 3 sauces Guacamole, Red, & a mix one with, Onion Cucumber Habanero cilantro. Payments Cash or Cash app. Parking on the side don't park in front of him. Excellent experience will return.THE TACOS WERE EXCELLENT LIKE MEXICO WITH A LITTLE TORTILLA. It opens at 5pm on Fridays and at 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays until 11pm. or when you run out of meat. He has a pen and paper for YOU to write down your taco order. You can call to place your order to go or there, it has tables inside with air conditioning or you can eat outside. “First time eating there. It was really good. Their salsa wasn't to spicy and not blend. It was really good. Hubby had steak nachos and it was good. I had the number 2 dinner combination and my tacos were really good. Rice and beans were good. The lady that took our order and brought pur food was very sweet. The cook was nice. It was very friendly. I can't wait to come back with my friends and eat. Chips were good too. Thank you so much for the delicious food?“
