“NO! i actually do NOT RECOMMEND! terrible... I will leave a longer review later as we are just leaving, but I've never been more disgusted in a restaurant and disappointed! Jamal should be fired! 1. ordered medium well steak, got well done... sent it back... got less than rare.... 3rd time it was right... not acceptable... more to come, stay tuned. 2. Bathrooms DISGUSTING! to use the urinal, you would have to stand in piss... il post video and pics of this..... stay tuned for #3 3. I called our reservation in on Wednesday. Today is Friday. We were 5 minutes late, and they STILL did not have or tables ready... stay tuned for #4“

“Just tried it today at the ASO Beethoven and Blue Jeans Block Party and it was fantastic. So juicy and flavorful. I got the shrimp boil and it was perfect. My mom, who is not a boil person, was willing to try and liked it too! As in made the comment "That's good, I might try it again next time." They were at an event Friday we attended and she had tried their nachos and they were fabulous too. We are definitely going to be keeping an eye for location postings.“

“We booked a “graduation party package” and everything looked and tasted great! The scheduling and communication were prompt and helpful. They set everything up in our home so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The food was delicious - especially the smoked chicken and queso! I’d definitely hire them again.“

“I cannot say enough good things about my recent experience at Oyster Bar. Not only is the food consistently amazing every time I visit, but the level of care and hospitality from the staff truly goes above and beyond. During my last visit, I unfortunately became overheated and fainted on the patio. What could have been a stressful and overwhelming situation was met with nothing but kindness, quick action, and genuine empathy from everyone at the restaurant. Emily, in particular, was an absolute lifesaver—I am beyond grateful she was there that day. From making sure I was okay to offering support in every way possible, her kindness did not go unnoticed. Our waiter had already provided excellent service before my mishap, ensuring a fantastic dining experience. The entire staff demonstrated what true hospitality looks like, and I am incredibly appreciative of their care and professionalism. If you’re looking for a place with phenomenal food and a team that truly cares about their guests, look no further than The Oyster Bar. 10/10 recommend!“

“I heard this place is legendary in Little Rock so I went and got why. They serve catfish and buffalo fish ribs that feel like crunchy treasures from Southern history. This diner has serious roots—civil rights leaders used to meet here, and it has that badge of honor from the James Beard people.
I had a plate of catfish hush puppies and coleslaw sat quietly and felt like I was part of something much bigger than fish and grease. Price was modest mood was deep food was memorable.“

“I have eaten at the University location several times and the food and service have always been great. Mom and I went there on Sunday 8/25/24 and ordered our food to go. I went into the bathroom and there was ZERO soap to wash my hands. I was also there a month ago and an employee was using the handicapped stall in the restroom and left without washing her hands. These two experiences raise concerns over cleanliness. I’m not sure how clean the other locations are but please remind the staff to wash their hands and please keep soap in the restrooms. Thank you!“

“All aboard went above and beyond for my little girl tonight! We don’t like coming into restaurants close to close however when we asked if they would be able to seat us without it putting them in a bind 30 minutes before close the cook and waiter/cashier were beyond accommodating and so kind! It was our family’s first time dining at an establishment like this and let me tell you my daughter LOVED every second of it. They were so attentive to us and we tried to be as clean and as quick as possible but they did not rush us by any means and they gave my kiddo the full experience and she just had a blast. She danced and “choo choo’d” her little behind off and ate up her Mac and cheese. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone!!“

“First time we tried this resto. My husband for some years asked me to try this place. We tried their shrimp and chicken dumpling my daughter liked it but I liked it ok. Now their Honey walnut shrimp? The bomb! Only lightly battered and jumbo shrimps! So they didn’t skimp on that! The taste profile is just a balance of savory delight. We also loved their hot and sour soup! We still have to try their other dishes. Our server was amazing and accommodated us very well! You need to give this resto a chance! The ambience is ok it’s quiet and relaxing but can do more improvements decor wise and the right lighting.“

“First time customer for Mr. Hui’s. I had ordered Beef Chow Fun from them the night before from the night before. I had explained I was going into Little Rock for work and I haven’t had beef Chow fun in over 5 years. It’s one of my favorite Asian dishes. I then ordered the Mongolian beef about 40 minutes before the pick up time for Mr. Hui’s. The dishes were delicious and made on time. We intend on going back Mr. Hui’s again when the chance arises.“
