My husband and I are from the Chicago area have ate a many beef sandwiches. This tastes like home. So good, will be back.
YAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. I know I’ve lived in Arkansas over half my life now. This is home. I embrace that. But when I get “home sick” I crave the nostalgic “comforts”from Illinois. Windy City Eats is a restaurant serving REAL Chicago style taste. The Italian beef sandwich is the best tasting one in years, full of flavor, and the true test of how authentic a Chicago food place is. The red sauce is definitely the best part. The Chicago hotdog is good too. The food is fresh. The 6-piece wing meal is amazing. Windy City Eats hits different and is literally a taste of home. It scratches that itch for nostalgic comforts from Illinois. When they ask if the Italian beef should be dipped, it is love at first bite. The owner is super professional and kind. A super nice young lady and her mom running the place embrace customers like family and chit chat until the food is ready. Customers will not be disappointed and will absolutely be back. 10/10.
