“We went into skinny’s as in a friend recommended!!! Boy what a great experience it was! Friendly staff, great food, and an amazing menu to choose from.. The staff was amazing along side of the amazing service. The bartender was amazingly knowledgeable and very well knew her job!!! The portion sizes were rather more than I was expecting so yeah I had carry out for later snacks!! I would recommend skinny’s to everyone that I know!!! “My husband and I drove all the way from England to eat here. The service was poor, the building is old, it was hot inside. It took 10 minutes for us to get our drinks. The appetizer was not that good. The coleslaw was warm and after waiting 35 minutes and still not getting our food, we went to the front and said we'd pay for the drinks and appetizer and we will leave. The waitress was lazy and slow. Walked by our table a few times when there was an empty basket sitting there and our drinks almost empty. Didn't bother to take the basket or refill drinks. A table behind us was getting cleaned, people sat down and not 10 minutes later got their food and we were still waiting on ours. Never again. What really got me is when the manager or owner...not sure who he was, said something to the waitress and she said something about it being a Saturday night. Im assuming she was saying it was busy. There was literally 10 tables full in the whole place and there was 4 waitresses. Im sorry, but if you think that was busy, you'd never make it somewhere like Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn on a Friday or Saturday night. Maybe waitressing is not for you.“

“Ice cream melted, asked to remove whip cream on second ice cream they literally wiped it off. And the lady at the window had seemed bothered from the time I ordered. Asked if that was it after every time I talked. I felt rushed and as if I was irritating her.“

“Today was my first time visiting Magnolia Skillet. I was greeted with a warm welcome . The staff members were friendly and it was very clean inside. The food was exceptional. The food had that southern taste and seasoned just right. I had the fried chicken with rice, black eyed peas, candy yams and cornbread. I’m looking forward to trying other menu items very some.

“I order from grubhub it came hot. It was prepared right. Here I was thinking it was going to be another mediocre FT(food truck) and I was quite impressed. The owners were very friendly. I had some concerns I was able to call and get answers not rudeness even while they weren’t even open. I would say give this a try if you want great food and service definitely one of those neighborhood gems that I hope sticks around. I had the rib fries I asked for sauce in the side. I also enjoyed their small gizzards and liver something I had been craving they have me craving more. Thank you“
