“Hey, Leroys fans!! Today was a misty and overcast day, but the den of the local conversations and warm, welcoming atmosphere, made the food all that more comfort and the service all that more comfortable. Big crowd, and as always a very, very very hard-working staff of one person, not sure how they do it but it’s well worth the wait. For some reason the biscuits were even larger than normal and the coffee was always given on time. Huge thanks to Stephanie the waitress for making it all possible.“

“My first trip to Hiwassee store for a meal. It's been on my radar for a burger and maybe some music. Ordered a burger and fries to go. My order was ready when I arrived - the crew there is so friendly and nice and the burger and fries were very tasty - very juicy tender cooked burger. Fries looked and tasted like McDonald's.They have a lot of outdoor seating and it looks like a great patio for music during cooler weather. I will be taking my favorite date and dropping in again.“

“Great breakfast made fresh to order and just the way you like and for a great price. My personal fave are the scatter browns which is hash browns with bell peppers and onions...so good. They serve everyone at the same time which I love since I have a big family and if one gets served first, others complain so love their ideas. They remembered me when I went to breakfast with my family who live in the area, even though I moved from that area almost two years ago. Amber (our waitress) always has a smile and remembered what everyone likes and is very patient with even large tables. I used to go there all the time when I lived down there and have tried breakfast and lunch there and it didn't disappoint. If your looking for a great home cooked meal while passing through SWC... Go to the Southwestern Cafe!!!“
