Pops Place offers a memorable dining experience with great food and outstanding service. The atmosphere is suitable for kids, and there is ample parking in the gravel lot. The restaurant features handicap-accessible bathrooms. Notable menu items include a delicious filet mignon, perfectly cooked medium steak, and an appetizing Boudain dip. The Missouri Western football team also recommends the food and set-up.
Live brass band, Texarkana Jazz Orchestra plays there regularly. The steaks are mesquite grilled and the best in Texarkana, especially the Pops Fatass Ribeye. It's very casual with a funky cool atmosphere—don't let the outside fool you. Little Louisiana flavor in Texarkana! The people were great, and servers were friendly. Food is excellent and fresh, though service can be a little slow when busy. A great hangout for date night or a fun evening.
