“Dinner was average, overpriced, onion ring taste like they were cooked in old grease, wait staff extremely rude, drinks were so small (half the size of a regular short) and bathrooms were filthy! Kids everywhere! not that I don't like kids but not at a sports bar on a Saturday night. Not going back and do not recommend.“

“my husband brought home some tap n tikka today. we live way up north, so the food took quite a trip. i got the malai goat and he got the goat bhuna masala. we both really enjoyed our main courses. we enjoyed the jeera rice and the garlic naan. my side of raita was pretty runny, runnier than I have ever had it before. the tandoori aloo parantha was also ok, but I have had it better at other places. so it was 50/50 good/not as good as we have had before. might try it again, but for the steep price, I was expecting something a bit more on point.“

“Had the chicken fingers and the were great, breading is light and crispy and chicken is juicy. Same can be said about their Onion Rings. Coleslaw and Caesar salad ok, just not great. This is a golf course retirement bar and grill and prices are very good for what you get. Recommend!“

“Very nice but we found a racist on check point asked the id we gave but unfortunately one of us has a foreign id holder which made all of us got surprised of the decision taken against the group ! We were at this particular place for the reason that our family live in Gilbert and call this bar theirs for many years! We meet different colors we never experienced this! “We’ve had the pleasure of eating at this Applebee’s in Gilbert a few time and have gotten to appreciate their consistencies and inconsistencies fairly well. At this location our fave go to items include the Classic Bone-in Wings, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, the Chicken Wonton Tacos, the Broccoli Chicken, to name a few. This last visit we stopped in for a munch while in the neighborhood I started with a Dos Equis Draft and my wife the Margarita. We then both splurged on their Classic Combo Appetizer with Boneless Wings, Spinach & Artichoke Dip, Chicken Quesadilla, and Mozzarella Sticks. Mmmm good! It is nearly impossible in todays world to not discover conglomerates operating restaurants that can actually provide 1) amazing service: 4.0, 2) excellent attention to detail especially in hospitality: 3.5, 3) cleanliness, hygiene and comfort in their décor, amenities and lavatories: 3.5, 4) an abundant and/or varied food and/or product menu: 4.0, 5) consistently appetizing offerings: 3.5, 6) a sincere customer service: 3.5, 7) unique, innovative or specialized menus: 3.5, 8) value and price of meals: 4.5 , and most of all, 9) the inert desire of one wanting to return, again and again for the experience gained: 4.0. These are some if not most of what my basic requirements are when visiting one of these establishments each time. My wife and I, although not professional reviewers, are connoisseurs of excellent foods whether a fine upscale cuisine, middle of the road common eats, or a low-end fast-food joint. In this way, I have developed a to-the-point method for determining the personal worthiness of each establishment visited as noted in my opening. Simplified, each requisite noted for the establishment visited best scored by my highest score offered. Applebee’s - Gilbert scores a pretty darn good score of 4.25 of a potential 5.0.
