“We have been unimpressed with food since we have moved here. In Gilbert everything tried to be eclectic or unique.... some good... most bad. The Mexican food in this area is junk... I needed a cheap dive for sports with piles of fried tots and this is it. Food was trashy and excellent. Bill was half what I'd spend at most places and the service was friendly. We went in the side entrance and my wife almost made me leave because smokers on the patio, and it felt like it had a clique group. Nah, we had our 1 yo, 3 yo and 9yo with us and even the other regulars made us feel welcome. it's a bit of a drive for us but I'm glad I tried it“

He was bragging a little so I said would you like for me to give you an honested opinion. He said yes and brought me some to try. Well he knocked it out of the ball park. New ownership has done some miracles and if it only takes 3 for sainthood, I'd really like to meet the owner...The ceiling tiles have been SEVERELY improved with just a simple fix. The lighting is beyond mood setting and has a pinch of welcoming charm. And the pool tables are currently being refitted and improved. It also looks like there's a nice community involving a potluck, and my experience with the boys this morning only backs up that theory!But all that is minor, because I'm about to drop an Oppenheimer level bomb...There's a "Last Action Hero" pinball machine. “Been here a few times, today on St. Patrick's Day. It's a very festive bar and with it being an Irish one it's pretty cool. The menu is limited (probably because of how busy it is) but has some Irish dishes. A little pricy, which personally triggers me more than it should (but in my defense, $12 for 3 chicken strips is getting personal). Overall great service, had multiple coming out to ask if our group was good. They had green beers, and a large table so I didn't feel crammed with 8 other people. Would come back here randomly, but wouldn't go out of my way to return.“

My late big brother worked there most of his adult life, and when he tragically passed away in 2015, Lucky Lou's name a drink after him and put it on the menu (Jake's Juice if you're interested, it's really good). I just moved in nearby and my love for this place is completely rekindled. Amazing food for super reasonable prices, great staff and has a really unique style. There's nowhere quite like it!“
