Taco Bell in Tucson

“Finally revising this review - management changed some years ago. Service has been great, both in wait time and food quality, and with pretty much everyone that works there. Friendly and efficient service. I always order on the app and pick up at the counter, so I can’t really speak to the overall “atmosphere”, but it’s been clean every time I’ve been there, which means something.

Vegetarian options: Black beans can be substituted for meat in any item, and multiple items are noted specifically as vegetarian on the menu.

Parking: Parking is sometimes sketchy when the Mexican restaurant right next to it is full; the main ingress from houghton also goes right between the two. that part of the shopping area wasn’t thought out. There are designated spots for takeout though, and I can always find a spot, it’s just tight.“

“Wonderful experience, from the food to the service, especially the service. It's not often you go into a fast food place or any restaurant and are greeted by a smiling face very upbeat personality. Thank you Angie for the exceptional service.“

“Honestly, they messed up my order. Extra order of chicken not included. Didn't notice until I got home. However, the customer service made me OK with it. Very polite employees. It's also kind of my fault for going to Taco Bell at midnight.“

“I enjoy being able to charge here along with my meal. This is another location where they have convenient outlets near the dining area. When I ordered a meal with less cheese, they didn't go easy on it and they hardly added any onions which I requested. I ordered another, this time a chicken double wrap, which was made as I had ordered.“

They are very busy here, but the food was perfectly prepared and the service was very friendly. I am typically not a fan of any place that offers Kiosk ordering (it feels very cold and unwelcoming )and while this location offers it, they don’t insist on it. We were greeted as some as we came in the door and the energy here is very friendly. Taco Bell makes an effort to refresh their menu regularly with new and old favorites and the Taco Salad (although mini) was delicious and held up to the memories! Thanks for a great experience!“

“You can tell when a manager has fully invested themselves into the store, he was actively engaging and more than accomodating to everyone who came through. The food is the same as it's been for years, except the new chicken stuff, tastes surprisingly good.“

“The staff and food were excellent. We were having a pretty bad, culminating in my wife straining her ankle and going to the er. I had been sitting in the car with our three cranky children for several hours and we wanted to just pick up a meal on our way home. The staff member working the drive through was extremely friendly and fantastic. We got our food and I can't explain my, or my wife's, surprise when we tried our five layer burritos and they were easily the best we had ever had, warm and fresh. The rest of our boxes met or exceeded most of our other experiences as well. All in all, a fantastic experience. It may have been timing but everything was exactly what we needed.“

“I didn't realize until after I made my order that Taco Bell doesn't go on location data and it sent my order to the wrong store. I quickly went inside and told the manager and he called the other store and canceled the order and made it for this location excellent service great food very friendly employees beautiful views! I would recommend this Taco Bell store!! I had the $5 lux box with chicken chalupa regular crunchy taco and five layer beefy burrito with side of nachos and a drink all for five bucks!!“

“Had accidentally placed an order at a different location the sweetest girl ever helped out and fixed it right away. These workers are so chill and nice to any of the reviews of them saying otherwise yall gotta just talk to service workers better. Say please and thank you and understand you aren’t the only order.“

“This location was very helpful in remaking my order that I never received when I ordered on the app. A driver was assigned to the order, apparently picked out up but never delivered it. He must have been hungry 😡 the order was reassigned to another driver and when he got there they told him the order was already picked up. So they remade the order and the Doordash driver was amazing!! He kept in contact with me the whole time and delivered my order with a smile! This location was fantastic and I appreciate them!“

“I have the feeling that fast food restaurants here in Tucson must have a high standard of hiring. I've been impressed with not only this Taco Bell but almost every other fast food place I visited since I've moved to Tucson. The restaurant was clean, organized and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I moved from Colorado and you can't say that about most fast food places in that state.“

“Taco Bell is categorized as fast food and it's exactly as they say... No false advertising here. I don't like the fact that the chili cheese burrito is gone "chilito" but can't go wrong with the crunchy taco as long as you don't wait too long to eat it. The last few times that I bought crunchy tacos they have been soggy before I could even get back to the house. I think the quality is disappearing definitely because they've got chicken on the menu now..“

“I'm a frequent flyer at this particular Taco Bell in the evenings, and I know that I always roll up with some weird vibes and I'm sure I'm notorious at this point. I've been eating here at least once a week since I started working on this side of town, and Taco Bell is my comfort food. I've been going through a lot since I moved here and I needed a lot of comfort. I still do. These last few weeks have been particularly hard on me and my smile's been a little less than genuine lately. So here I am, at this Taco Bell again, eating dinner alone in my car. I don't know what they did different but everything was better than usual tonight. I just want y'all to know that I appreciate the effort you put into it. Maybe not everyone appreciates what you do, but I do. Thank you for that extra little bit of comfort on my healing journey.“

“I love taco bell. Food for the masses. Always fresh, fast service, CLEAN, great to take kids.
My 4 y/o granddaughter loves it also. You can feed a family of 5 or 6 and it won't eat up your electric bill or rent. One of the BEST FAST FOOD shops!“

“Great location right on the bus route with plenty of parking and it's just a great place to stop in and have a bite to eat or if you're in a hurry go to drive through. I did both on the same day I forgot something after I left and had to go to drive through and I have great service and great food both times. I've been back several times just because of the customer service I even live further away and choose this Taco Bell location because of the people working there.“

“I went to the drive thru today and could hear and see a gentleman inside I am assuming the owner as he was in street clothes behind the counter scolding one of the workers for how an item was made, no upsell etc. I felt sorry for the kid although whoever he was speaking to was outside of my eyesight but I could feel the tension. No sign of kindness in his voice. I understand having to keep things in order but maybe dont be so unkind but especially in earshot of customers. If I were the owner of this specific location I would focus more on the riff raff outside on his property using drugs openly and scaring off customers especially at night trying to go through the drive through and it being blocked by people camped out using. I've always been treated with kindness by the workers and the order has been as ordered. This interaction made me not want to put any more money into this owners pockets for how we was treating his workers. I will drive past and go to the next nearest location“

“It's weird to see all the negative reviews. I order their breakfast almost 2-3x a week and I have never had any issues. They're quick, thorough, nice at the window, food is always good and up to par. I've only dealt with the morning staff - but they're great!“

Guys working in the back, getting the orders out in a decent amount of time handling outside drive thru orders and instore orders.

If I am in this area again, I am willing to go here vs. a taco shop, I may be willing because of the service.

Based on my experience here at this store, they should have more stars.
