“Stopped in to have a quick bite on our way back from Rocky Point. We walked in close to closing time and were served and not rushed. The staff was very friendly and food was excellent. Granny’s Kitchen in Ajo, Arizona is a charming, albeit older, spot that delivers on cleanliness despite its worn appearance. The service, however, left much to be desired. With only one waitress managing the entire restaurant, the service was understandably slow. She was incredibly busy and, unfortunately, never checked on us after serving our food.

On a brighter note, the food was quite good. Debi thoroughly enjoyed her omelette, while my huevos rancheros were absolutely delicious. The food quality definitely stands out.

Despite the slow service, we plan to return. Debi is especially looking forward to trying their lunch offerings, particularly their mole sauce.”
