“What a fantastic local gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with exceptional customer service. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel appreciated.
The food was even better than we expected. One thing that really surprised me was the portion sizes. Don't let the menu fool you—the small sandwich is about the size of a medium at most places, and the medium is easily comparable to a large somewhere else. Honestly, there's absolutely no reason to pay extra for double meat because they already pack these sandwiches full.
Everything was incredibly fresh. The potato salad was excellent, and even though I never order pasta salad, my wife did... and I ended up stealing most of it because it was that good!
I'd highly recommend The Subslingers to anyone looking for an amazing sandwich. Even if this were a big national chain, I'd still be giving it five stars. But the fact that it's locally owned makes me want to support them even more. Great people, generous portions, fresh ingredients, and fair prices. We'll definitely be back!“

“We’re from other states. My husband is from Texas and I am from Louisiana. We met on the pipeline and started our own business which keeps me returning to mesa Arizona 2-3 times a year. The steel mill has recommended this business and we love it! It’s a must stop every time! I can’t wait to eat here every time I’m in town! The people, atmosphere, and food is amazing!! “We loved the drinks and the decor. The food was good too. We had the BLT and the Johnny Utah and they came with fries. I got a painkiller and it definitely reminded me of the islands - having just visited them back in January and getting painkillers from the source.

The only reason our visit didn't feel 5 stars was because the waitress took my food order before we ordered drinks nor was my gf ready to order quite yet.

So while my girlfriend was deciding and ready to order, I received my food and asked the runner to let our waitress know she was ready for food and we were ready for drinks.

Luckil, her food didn't take long so I got to enjoy a hot meal with her instead of eating mine separately.

Other than that, great place and definitely will be back.“

“It was my first time back since Covid hit. It was just as tasty as before. The waitstaff made sure I was happy with everything, even well after bringing my food. They followed all the current protocols of these times too.“

“Under New Management, but essentially it's the same place. You check of what you want on the menu and they bring it to you, and you repeat the process until you're done. There's plenty of options of various Japanese dishes ranging from Udon soup to Yakitori and maki rolls. They have a pretty large selection of specialty rolls as well. On a very rare occasion they may forget a dish or bring out a dish you didn't order, but the staff are very polite. Overall, I highly recommend them. I think you'll have a good time.“

I talked to the girl at the window today on your closing day and I was stunned to hear about this. it's sad and bitter sweet to have everything closed but the way it was handled has me even more upset.“

“There are very few fast food places I eat anymore. Once I lived on them. Now I very careful where I spend my money. They have to have quality and they have to be priced right. This location is great. The employees are super nice and the owner is too. I love skipping the line ordering from my app and they bring it to my table. Usually quickly. They also fix any issues fast (not that many to speak of).“

“The food is absolutely delicious. But for some reason, I just can't get over the smell In there. It sort of smells like when you're washing dishes or the water sits there with a mixture of sewage. I don't know. So when I ate the food, I kind of felt like I tasted that rank water in the veggies that were steamed and food. If that smell was gone it be so perfect. The shredded beef is great and white meat chicken.“

“I respect and appreciate chick fil a closing on Sunday though I miss them! I have never had poor customer service even if there's an issue with service or order. They always correct it and with a smile. This location no different. My son wanted lunch at 10:20 and they were able to take the order to begin process when breakfast service over at 1030. My son mostly craved for a frozen lemonade, which not quite set but they made a new one really quickly, apologizing profusely since just started machine; We got extra goody and on our way to mini-vacay with our belly's full and happy.“

“The food was fresh and delicious, but what made my visit extraordinary was the service. Everyone working was friendly, helpful, and kind. I mistakenly ordered a hot latte instead of an iced one; not only did they remake my beverage, but they did so cheerfully. I only know Alex's name, but everyone is amazing!“

“Got the breakfast burrito and 2 quesadillas, and to be honest they're kinda bland, even with salsa or hot sauce they're not really remarkabl; not bad in any sense, but nothing crazy. The size of the burrito was good for the price, though. Service was good, and not much can be said about the atmosphere of a drive through only restaurant.“
